The efflux of an extinct volcano — an exceptional growing site for our oldest Chardonnay vineyard.
CHARDONNAY
TASTING NOTES
Smells of yellow plum and mimosa flowers. Sonorous. A wine that reverberates through the body like an electric current. Almost physically crackles in the mouth, like reworks against a dark sky. The spice is like a wall of ne powder. Golden flowers, chamomile and the pencil-sketched shadow of honey. Massive lift through the nose. Powerful without being heavy, power with precision. I love the mouth-watering dustiness, the chalk haze that seems to run like autumn-mist ribbons in the valley.
